Hindi cinema, also referred to as Bollywood or Bombay Cinema, is an Indian Hindi-based film industry based in Mumbai. Bollywood, a colloquial term for mainstream Hindi film, is a combination of the words “Bombay” and “Hollywood”. Bollywood has given us many gems over the years and it would be a shame not to share them with the world. Missing on a Weekend is an Indian investigative thriller film released on 26 August 2016 at the Indian box office. The total collection of Missing on a Weekend is 22 crore rupees. It is directed by Abhishek Jawkar and produced by Rajesh Patange, Sebastian Joseph and Abhishek Jawkar. Missing on a Weekend is an investigative crime story based in Goa. CBI Police Inspector Ali Ansari (Pavan Malhotra) has been transferred to Goa to take control of the current nasty undercover crime scene plaguing India’s tourism capital.
Ansari now has a new case amid all the chaos where one man, Laksh (Karan Hariharan) was found unconscious on the Calangute beach. He is brutally wounded in the head and has lost a substantial part of his memory. After a short investigation, the police find out where he is in Goa. When the police team arrives at the resort where Laksh and his six other friends from Delhi are staying, they find one of his friend dead in one of the cabin’s toilets and all the other friends are missing.
Now Ansari is left with only one suspect-cum-victim-cum-survivor, Laksh, who barely remembers what happened.

A traffic signal comprises a microcosm of the people who derive their daily livelihood from it. There are beggars (children and adults), prostitutes, con men, eunuchs and others who sell clothes, flowers and trinkets. They talk fast, act fast and act somewhat honestly (to each other) to eke out a modest living from the rough street life of Mumbai. He owes allegiance and a hafta (a weekly “protection” fee) to Signal Chief Silsila (Kunal Khemu).
Silsila grew at the signal. He ran various businesses there before becoming a manager. He is the ideal manager: sensitive and caring for his workers, but ruthless when it comes to delivery. Silsila reports to a mid-level don, Jaffar, who in turn reports to the big boss Haji bhaijaan.Life is going well. A gentle girl Rani (Neetu Chandra) comes on cue to sell ethnic wear. The initial fireworks blossom into a deeper companionship with Silsila. Everything is going normally.
