Here’s How Flipkart Product Recovery Process Works:
- Sign in to Flipkart and go to your Orders tab. Tap or click Back to create a request.
- Choose your valid reason for the refund – based on the exchange options, where appropriate, will appear. Three options will be available:
- Transaction: Your order will be exchanged for the same product of a different size or color
- Replace: The product with your order will be replaced by the same product if it is damaged (broken or damaged) or defective (has a performance problem that causes it to malfunction).
- Refund: If the product you selected is not available in your preferred size or color or model, or if it is finished, you may decide that you want your refund. In this case, you can choose a refund to get your money back (See Step 6)
- Depending on the type of product you wish to return, your return request may need to go through a verification process
- After confirmation, you will need to confirm your decision based on the product category ordered.
- Keep track of all the essentials needed for a smooth return process – including invoice, actual packaging, price tags, free, accessories, etc.
- Download and Delivery of your order will be arranged manually in the event of exchange and exchange
- Refunds will be initiated and processed if appropriate
- Your request will be completed according to the Flipkart return / replacement certificate

- Once you fill out the Returns online form, you will receive an email at your registered email address and an SMS on your registered mobile number. You can also track the process by visiting the My Account page on your laptop or smartphone by clicking My Orders. If you are going to trade, your exchange product will be delivered to you at the same time as it is taken in most cases. Remember to keep track of your order.

You can request a refund/exchange/exchange within 30 days of delivery of the lifestyle category which includes underwear (excluding underwear, underwear, socks, and free), shoes, eyewear, fashion accessories, and jewelry (non-essential). Click here for more details.
NOTE: Note that in the two buckets above Flipkart refund policy applies as long as the items are unused, undamaged, and have all actual tags and packaging complete.

If your order is damaged, defective or disrupted

First, check for damage to the ordered product. At times, the package may appear damaged due to shipping and handling but the product inside the package may be in good condition. However, if you notice that your parcel has been tampered with or the product is not properly sealed in its box, you may immediately reject it. If you see this after receiving the package, you can choose to request a Refund request. Click the Orders tab on the Flipkart mobile app or desktop site for the Restore option. Select this and follow the steps in the process. The Flipkart team returning the product will take over from here.
Depending on the category of the product ordered, you can choose Replacement or Refund.
Unexpected fit, color, or style

You ordered running shoes and found that they did not fit? Don’t worry. Log in to your Flipkart account, go to the My Orders tab, click Return, select the reason as the size equation problem and select the Exchange option. A swap is an option when the size does not match OR you do not like the color of the product.
Product restitution and replacement in the event of an Exit Out
