Ulefone Power Armor 13 review

Ulefone Power Armor

Ulefone Power Armor 13 with a 13,200 mAh battery is the toughest smartphone anyone could get their hands on. You could carry it all day, or should we say all week. Like earlier Armor models, this one emphasizes both durability and utility, featuring an endoscopic attachment, a powerful inbuilt spotlight, and a laser distance meter.

It’s not just about toughness, it’s a Power Armor variant, which explains the massive battery – a 13,200 mAh cell! The phone has fast charging capabilities, including 33W cable charging and 15W wireless charging, and you can bet it can reverse charge as well.

Ulefone has been fair with its commercial packages, and the Power Amor 13 is no exception. The phone comes with a red USB-C cable rated at 3A and a 33W power adaptor (USB-C port, too). You’ll also get a USB OTG cable, a USB-A-to-C adapter, and a tempered glass screen protector from Ulefone. You must first remove the factory-applied protective film before using the glass guard.

You could also add a variety of accessories to your Power Armor 13. For $25, you can get a robust case with a clip and a hook, which will make it much easier to keep this Power Armor 13 on your belt instead of in your pocket.

Design

The Armor 13 used polycarbonate plastic and aluminium as its primary building components, similar to the Oukitel WP15. The metal frame will protect it from drops, and the sturdier frame will cushion any falls that could harm its internal parts or display.

An oleophobic layer covers the camera, which is a wonderful feature for individuals who loathe fingerprints. A speaker grill, four camera sensors, and a 5-LED flash array are located on the back of the phone.

The Armor 13’s left side has a POGO connector for accessories, a configurable red button, and the SIM tray, while the right side has a volume rocker, power button, and dedicated fingerprint sensor.

Hardware

The Mediatek Helio G95, the company’s most potent 4G chipset, lies at the heart of the Power Armor 13; it couples a network of eight arm cores with four Arm Mali-G76 MC4 GPU cores, and it’s the same processor found in the Doogee S97 Pro and the Realme 8.

It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x memory and 256GB of onboard UFS storage. NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0 are among the wireless options. The 13.2Ah battery is charged with a small 33W (11V,3A) battery that can both give electricity (5W) and charge wirelessly (15W). Of course, the included OTG cable can be used to charge other enabled devices.

Performance

The G95 outperforms the WP15’s 5G-capable Dimension 700, with a few of the highest PCMark scores ever obtained for a non-Qualcomm processor (almost 10,000 points), and its storage subsystem is its only serious flaw. This is a strong smartphone that would outperform its entry-level competitors.

Outside of the complete array of Google Mobile Services (Youtube, Gmail), it has the standard Mediatek programs like the Security Center (which is more of a utility suite), Children Space, and Easy launcher, which seem to be basic virtual desktops akin to Samsung’s Knox.

Specifications

Display Size: 6.81″ inch

Furthermore, the display specifications of the 13 have been brushed over in its pre-launch teaser; it has a 6.81-inch screen with a Full HD+ resolution. The big-screen power armor 13 offers a better audio and video effect, a wider field of view, and a higher satisfaction while watching movies, playing games, and browsing the web.

Moreover, the big-screen phone’s screen touch will be more precise. When the resolution is the same, the larger the screen, the more touchpoints there will be. As a result, the precision of the touch screen on a mobile phone can be substantially improved.

Supported by an endoscope

Like the ulefone Armor 9, the Ulefone Power Armor 13 is supported by the use of an endoscope. On the left, there’s an expansion interface for connecting with a flexible endoscope. It could be used with an endoscope to clear HVAC, vent pipes, car engines, air conditioning units, sofa corners, bathroom pipes, toilets, and other hard-to-see locations, narrow or tight areas indoors or outdoors.

Android 11 OS new operating system from Google.

Power Armor 13 is pre-installed with the latest Android 11 operating system, making it simple to read essential information and handle conversations. Many intriguing features may be found in this OS version. Your phone will perform more smoothly and consistently thanks to the improved system optimization. You’ll get a smoother and more stable Android experience thanks to the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset.

Laser Rangefinder with Infrared Light

An infrared rangefinder is built into the Ulefone Power Armor 13. With this feature, you may use your power armor 13 rugged smartphone to measure length, area, volume, and Pythagoras. It’s a good tool to have around the house.

Battery

Enormous batteries, as was we know, are now becoming increasingly common in smartphones, particularly tough phones. Ulefone, the king of the tough smartphone industry, is preparing to release a stunning smartphone with a gigantic 13200mAh battery. When it is released, it will be the world’s largest battery smartphone.

It also has a 33W quick-charging capability. The battery-pack-turned-phone will charge in a fraction of the time, thanks to a move up to respectable mid-range 33W cable charging, rather than the 18W standard that most smartphones in its category use. As a result, the charging time of large battery phones was considerably lowered. One of the standout features is the 15W wireless charging. These obnoxious cords and numerous plugs and unplugs will never be seen.

Another of the strongest points Ulefone may have made here is that the Power Armor 13 may be used as a power bank, both connected and wirelessly. In addition, 5W reverse charging is supported. You could use it to keep the power on your other household appliances. If you are a fan of sturdy hardware smartphones you got to get your hands on this set.
