The 10 Highest Scoring Matches Of IPL 2022

PBKS v. RCB

Amid a disappointing season, the Punjab Kings had a standout inning against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. A dangerous bowling attack led by RCB’s Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga, who took 4 and 2 wickets respectively, met their persistent batting effort. They were unable to match Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow’s superb innings, which saw them score 70 off 43 and 66 off 29 respectively. The game gave PBKS a chance to qualify and kept RCB at bay by giving them two crucial points.

KKR vs. RR: 210/10

Some strikes are just impossible for you to survive. When Kolkata Knight Riders faced Rajasthan Royals during a normally slow season, they discovered that the hard way. When Jos Buttler scores a century and Yuzvendra Chahal scores five runs in the same tense match, there isn’t much you can do. Although Shreyas Iyer, the captain of the KKR, made a determined effort to lead his team to victory, even his outstanding 85 off 51 and Aaron Finch’s 58 off 28 weren’t quite enough to complete the task. KKR needed the victory to maintain their standing on the table, but regrettably, despite their best efforts, they fell short.

The score for CSK vs. LSG: 210/7

The defending champion Chennai Super Kings made an admirable effort to right themselves following the defeat they suffered in the series-opening game. The series of losses did, however, continue, with some of them being very bad. This game against the recently formed Lucknow Super Giants, which LSG won by 6 wickets and 3 balls remaining, was a serious setback for CSK. With 61 off 45, 55 off 29, and 40 off 26 respectively, Quinton de Kock, Evin Lewis, and captain KL Rahul led the batting attack for the first edition. The attack on the CSK was bolstered by the two wickets each taken by Andrew Tye, Avesh Khan, and Ravi Bishnoi.

The score for RR vs. SRH: 210/6

Rajasthan sets the stage for their ground-breaking onslaught for the season in the opening game of the season for both sides. The batting attack’s standout performance came from skipper Sanju Samson, who scored 55 off just 27 deliveries. Yuzvendra Chahal had a fantastic season debut, going 3 for 22. Umran Malik, a brilliant uncapped Indian bowler who took 2 for 39 for the Sunrisers, was also featured in this match. However, they were dismissed at a dismal 149/7 after their innings, giving Rajasthan a huge victory margin. A game with such high scoring deserves to be listed among the top 10 games of the IPL 2022.

The score for LSG vs. KKR: 210/0

LSG’s cricket is at its best in this one! KKR was easily defeated by Lucknow, who didn’t lose a single wicket throughout its innings. The only creators of this wonderful innings were Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul, with the former scoring 140* and the later scoring 68*. As the game entered its final ball, Shreyas Iyer and Rinku Singh made a valiant effort to bring their team back into the game. However, they only won the game by two runs because of Marcus Stoinis’ two wickets in the final two deliveries following a very expensive over. The game effectively eliminated Kolkata from the playoffs and placed Lucknow in them.

LSG defeats CSK, 211/4.

If a match includes two entries on a list of the 10 IPL 2022 games with the highest scores, it must be particularly noteworthy. This season, the Lucknow Super Giants have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. This early-season contest versus the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings solidified the string of victories. With a score of 211, Lucknow beat their 210 total while losing three fewer wickets in the process. Two outstanding half-centuries from each of their big hitters, along with the captain’s 40 off 29 runs, sealed the victory for them.

DC vs. KKR

With a new skipper and a reorganized team this IPL season, the Delhi Capitals have had trouble establishing themselves. But this game seemed to serve as a reminder of how exceptional this team is. With scores of 61 off 45 and 51 of 29, respectively, David Warner and Prithvi Shaw are in the lead in the batting order, pushing the team’s total to 215. With Kuldeep Yadav limiting Kolkata Knight Riders’ pursuit to a 171 all-out, they skillfully defended this score. Khaleel Ahmed, who bowled four overs and took three for 25, helped Yadav bowl a fantastic spell in which he took 4/35. They have made solid progress thanks to the contest.

RCB vs. CSK Score: 216/4

The only time this season that CSK supporters rejoiced was following the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore early in the competition. They achieved a score of 216 thanks to Shivam Dube’s amazing 95*. The contest served as a reminder of the reigning champions’ enormous talent. Bangalore was held to 193/9 by Chennai’s bowling assaults, which were led by Maheeah Theekshana’s 4-33 and new skipper Ravindra Jadeja’s 3-39. RCB suffered one of the season’s first defeats despite the heroic efforts of Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed to get their team over the finish line.

KKR vs. RR Score: 217/5

The midseason match between Rajasthan and Kolkata is listed as the eighth highest scoring match of IPL 2022. Despite a shaky start to the season, the Kolkata Knight Riders gave Rajasthan Royals a run for their money by scoring 210 runs. The batting held steady despite the frequent wicket-taking, particularly from Yuzvendra Chahal. When a top-tier batsman like Jos Buttler responds to a good score with a century, there is nothing you can do. To finish their innings with a bigger score than their competitors, RR quickly dispatched KKR’s bowling staff.

The score for RR vs. DC: 222/2

A Jos Buttler century appears to be a theme with this list! When hit like that, the Delhi Capitals didn’t have a chance. With Devdutt Padikkal’s 54 off 35 and his 116 off 65, the Royals were poised to amass a total intimidating enough to terrify any playing XI in a T20 match. Assisting their batting was some outstanding bowling from Prasidh Krishna and Ravichandran Ashwin, who each claimed four and three wickets. Fans of the teams and the game enjoyed one of the most thrilling viewing experiences as a result of their collective effort, which led them to their biggest score of the season so far.
