As the game entered its final ball, Shreyas Iyer and Rinku Singh made a valiant effort to bring their team back into the game. However, they only won the game by two runs because of Marcus Stoinis’ two wickets in the final two deliveries following a very expensive over. The game effectively eliminated Kolkata from the playoffs and placed Lucknow in them.
LSG defeats CSK, 211/4.
